My current garden gate is rotting and needs replacing. The hinge has to be fitted at least 15-20cm away from the wall due to there being a drain pipe behind the gate.
I'm looking for some advice on how to best make this gap up. I've thought about attaching a 10cm post to the wall and then another post on to that but not sure how secure/stable. Any advice on what the best thing to do would be?
