:( Hello everyone, just had a major gas leak in my house. I am very lucky I had a very good friend in the business and did all the repairs. What has amazed and frightened him is that the pipes are laid onto a solid concrete floor under some floorboarding. I have tried to find something in the regs about it but no joy. Can anyone shed some light on this. Thanks and this is a cracker of a web forum for all DIY subjects. Roy.

Hi Roy,

Gas pipes can be laid in concrete as long as they are protected from it.
E.g. laid in a duct/conduit or say wrapped in denso tape.
