gas safety checks

after work has been carried out on a combi boiler,, by a qualified gas engineer, when looking at paper work what safety checks should have been carried out?

It depends on what work was carried out, why ? what's the problem ?

If he worked on the water section of the boiler, then basic visual checks would suffice. If he worked on the gas section then he should carry out tightness tests, set/check gas pressures where necessary - possibly carry out flue gas analysis checks (depends on work undertaken and boiler type).
