General question on planning for replacing shed with brick outbuilding

by Madpad_01 » Mon Feb 22, 2021 1:48 pm

Hello all,

New to this forum so please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong section.

I am planning on replacing my shed with a brick outbuilding. Doing a quick online search, I belive I don't need planning permission, is this true?
The building will be be 4m x 2m x 2.5m.
Want it all brick work with a single slope roof. It will only have 1 door and 1 window.

Any advice would be a great help.
Thanks.

Hi madpad_01
It would be easy to tell you that you don’t need PP.
Unfortunately the only people who are able to confirm this are you local authority planning department. To get a ruling you will probably have to submit plans.
