Getting rid of expanding foam around fireplace

by bodgetastic » Mon Jul 13, 2020 3:05 pm

Hi all,
I live in a flat with wooden skirting. At some point, somebody replaced the fireplace with a smaller one and decided to fill the gap with... expanding foam! It's awful. Any advice of how to get rid of it, preferably without damaging the plaster etc?

Hi bodgetastic
Slice the top off with a sharp blade and rake out the remainder with a scraper or screwdriver.
