Hi,
I am wiring up a large house and would like to know if it is ok to run the kitchen and ground floor sockets off one ring?
The main loads in the kitchen have there own feeds ie: induction stove (10mm cable) and conventional oven, steamer and microwave oven (6mm cable).
I know it is better practice to run a kitchen on its own circuit but honestly there are probably 4 work top plugs and 4 in the utility room which at most times wont be on all at once.
I was thinking it may be better to run them all off one circuit.
the ring will supply the garden room (4 sockets)the living room (4 sockets)
socket in the walkway and obviously the kitchen and utility room.I dont feel it will reach the 32A limit.
Furthermore, with regards to protecting it.RCBOs or Split boards? The board is going to be significanlty large as this house is a monster.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Regards,
