Halogen lights in bathroom zones Ask questions and find answers to many subjects relating to electrics and electrical work

We've just fitted 12v halogen down lights in the bathroom, the halogen bulbs are within a sealed reflective unit, but the fittings on closer inspection do not state whether they are appropriate for the zones above the bath and sink (we have a hand held shower attachment to the bath tap, so there is a small chance of them getting sprayed with water) Is this cause for concern as the units are only 12v??

Higher that 2.25 meters from floor level it is out of zone but I would not be over worried.
