I would like to hang a picture on the wall and near that area there used to be an intercome. It was removed and the wall replastered. I can't be 100% sure that the wires are not deep (or live...). Does this work as if I wanted to put a picture near a switch? Is there any way to easily check and do things safely? Should I borrow a stud finder? Or I'd better hang the pictures somewhere else...
