Hanging under sink unit but exposed pipes

by portmoon » Sun Jun 28, 2020 9:06 am

Hello all,

I want to fit a hanging unit under sink in bathroom. The current one goes down to the floor and is starting to rot at the bottom because of how close it is to the shower (it's a wet room). This one looks good:

But, the pipes go down to the floor (see attached pic), so will be visible beneath the unit. Should I:

1) Box them off
2) Bury them in the wall (which will mean re-tiling!)
3) Try to fit some sort of semi-pelmet?

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Hi portmoon
Suggest you box in and cover boxing with tiles.
