Help and Advice Needed About Drain in Conservatory

by KellySmith29 » Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:00 pm

Hi I am a first time buyer and recently bought my first home which had a sunroom extension at the back attached to the kitchen. When all the previous owners furniture was removed I noticed this drain on the wall that is attached to the kitchen (see pics). When the sunroom was built they obviously didn’t move the drains. I’m just wondering if anyone has seen anything similar to this and could it cause a serious issue? Would I be able to move the drain without causing structural damage to the sunroom or flooring? Any advice is appreciated. I guess being a first time buyer I may have been a naive when it came to looking for problems. Ps the sunroom isn’t that big so there is no buildings regulations as far as I know.
