Our baby has an old cot which has sentimental value and has been used for a couple of generations. I replaced one of the old bolts (from the back panel to the bar panel with a new M5 bolt. The problem is, is that the bolt has sheared the wood a little and it does not have any real bite, so it is quite loose and unsafe.
I don't want to weaken it any more by experimenting- What's the best way (Would nuts and washers do the job - And if so what type). Many thanks
