this is my first post here
ive been away travelling for a year and since i have been away my parents have moved house , on my return i discovered they have a little outhouse/shed thing at the bottom of the garden which was filled with usual random gardening stuff and other rubbish.
It has electricity running to it, so i thought it would be cool to clear it all out and have a little DIY project to turn it into a man-cave of sorts pool table/ darts board/ speakers / sofa etc.
anyways - ive never really done any serious diy before so am pretty unsure of how to proceed. but i am determined to make it my project and try and do as much of it myself, instead of getting some guy in to do it for me.
final thing, i'm a university student so obviously money is an issue, my mum said she'd help me out a bit as if done well it could add to the value of the house, but yea if possible i would like to keep the costs down.
im not sure how much you'll be able to see from the photos attached, so i will try and describe the situation of the shed:
the floor is not fully concreted, only the whole perimeter of it is concreted , about 1 to 2 feet in width around the edge.
the rest of the floor in the middle is still just earth. my initial thoughts are to dig this down and concrete the floor.
the shed floor is NOT level. there is probably about a 10cm difference in height from one side to the other. how would i go about leveling this?
the bottom of the wall panels do not connect to the concreted perimeter, they just rest about 5cm above the earth, so some rot has occurred
the roof and the ceiling beams are not flush so wind and rain can still enter, how would i got about rectifying this?
