There are black/green flakes in my water.
I recently extended my water supply line from my house to a newly built annex. Below is a simple diagram illustrating what the system looks like, with red squares marking the areas where I've noticed the flakes.
I'm concerned about these flakes, and I'm hoping someone here can help identify what might be causing them. I've ran the taps for hours and they still show up.
Would installing an under-sink reverse osmosis filter effectively solve this problem, or are there other steps or solutions I should consider first?
