Help Wiring New Light!!!

by loyalblue » Sun Jan 11, 2009 4:48 pm

I've just replaced the ceiling rose in bedroom with a spotlight bar. It's all working okay but the light in the next door bedroom doesn't work anymore.

There were two cables coming from the ceiling. I wired in the switched live but the other two live wires I insulating taped off. Should I have joined them?

Why would you think that the other wires were not required.
Do what kbrownie says.
