Help with knocking down conservatory and building an extension

Post by Papi3006 » Mon Jan 11, 2021 8:13 pm

Hi all,

I am looking to knock down my current conservatory and build an extension. I don’t know how best to do this. Ideally I’d like a large family room but this would require a lot more building work ( I think )
There is space to extend right across the back of the house. It would open up onto the garden (which is north facing and would need a lot of light). We use the conservatory as a playroom at the moment.
I’d like-
A large kitchen with an island
A dining area
An area for my son to have his toys in the family area

Any advice? Budget is small. Thanks in advance

Hi papi3006
Assuming your proposed extension would work out 10m x 3m you are looking at a cost of around £60k this varying depending on design and where you live. Certainly not cheap.
Regards S
