sorr if this sounds daft, but I want to conceal the isolating valves for the shower inside the tiled cavity wall just outside the shower cubicle, but I want to cover the hole with a nice chrome cover or something that doesnt look naff.
any ideas
You can buy stainless stell sheets/splashbacks from places like Ikea, alternatively what height are the valves at ? right height for a mirror ?
Is there no way of attaching tiles to ply and making a cover that matches the rest of the wall ? a square of chrome plated metal stuck in the middle of tiles may still look naff.

Thats the best way and if you make your cover the same size as two or more tiles then silicone the edges rather than grout. To get access just cut through the silicone. Panel will be virtually invisible to those who do not know that its there.
