Homemade Pulse Button for New Blender That Does not Have one

by grayham24 » Wed Mar 30, 2016 1:26 pm

Hey,

Bit of a weird one but... I recently bought this blender as a gift

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Salter-Nutri-Pr ... B00WGSC714

But annoyingly it doesn't have a pulse button so you have to turn it on and off at the plug, shake the device etc... to use it effectively

I was thinking could i just strip the wire and install a simple cord switch without any problems? Dont know an aweful lot about electronics myself

Something like this;

Cheers

Gray

I'm sure that it would work, and would be relatively easy to do. Make sure the are safe though: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects/el ... safety.htm

Or you could position the blender near the plug if you have a counter top socket?
