hot and cold

by gwhizz » Tue Aug 14, 2007 7:28 pm

hi all,

i live in an upstairs maisonette with the boiler down stairs

i have a shower that fluctuates from red hot to freezing cold, its a mira 415 model, thermostatic

its connected direct to hot and cold water supply from bosche combi condensing boiler, which is downstairs. which is less than 3 years old .

the other day i was in shower and it stayed constant, the neighbours were all out.

im wondering if it is something to do with the water pressure.

the central heating is all plumbed with polypipe, and a plumber has told me that the plastic becomes less good with time, and starts to take in air.

and has told me i need a re-plumb of the central heating system.

any advice appreciated.
