Hot water pump

by philyeah » Sat Feb 16, 2008 2:29 pm

I have a mixer tap in the bath with a shower attachment. The problem is that the cold water is mains fed and hence high pressure, the hot is fed from the tank. The imbalance means the shower is next to useless and cold pressure dominates hot. The mixer tap in the sink is the same.
Is it possible to fit a pump for the hot water to increase the pressure. I was thinking I could fit this to the hot feed at the top of the tank in the airing cupboard ? Thanks in advance for your replies
