Hi all,
Just hoping someone can help here with this problem.
I replaced the kitchen mixer tap yesterday and fixed a minor leak under the sink with a new yorkshire connector.
Since refilling the system the water is o.k. for the first minute then slows to a dribble, eventually stopping altogether.
I have two huge header tanks in the attic with a common balance pipe.
The valve that is fitted on the supply from the tank to the system doesn't seem to stop when turning, although when a tap is turned on I can hear the ball valve making up the water.
How dependent is the hot water pressure on the head pressure from the tank(s) ??
Could it be the valve is only partially open and not maintaining enough pressure to push water through the cylinder ??
Please help as a cold shower in the morning isn't popular in this house....
