I had a strange noise coming from my Hotpoint RD1176J washer drier. Before sending for an engineer I had a quick look to check for anything obvious. I found a loose pipe with a wire spring clip on the end hanging loose in the machine. The pipe comes from the rear of the soap dispenser around the back of the machine and was just hanging loose in the rear corner. Could anyone confirm where it is supposed to attach? I've attached a photo.
