How can I bring my kitchen/diner units away from the wall?

by Oboe74 » Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:42 pm

Hi all - I want to bring remove one of these display cabinets out and put a fridge freezer in the alcove to the right. Wondered if anyone knows a way to bring them forward about 10cm, so the fridge (60cm deep), is a bit more flush with the units (currently 40 cm deep). They are ikea units attached to the wall with a bracket, so guess I need a spacer of some description that’s 10cm deep?

Hi oboe74
Easiest solution would be to get 150mm angle brackets fix them direct to the rear wall and screw down into the top of the remaining cupboard.
