How can I tell if a lft conversion of properly insulated?

by MiniMum97 » Sun Aug 19, 2012 2:00 pm

Hi
My husband and I are buying a house which already has a loft conversion. The EPC "assumes" that it doesn't have insulation. Does anyone know how we can check whether the conversion has proper insulation and, if it doesn't, how easy/costly it is, or isn't, to install it?
Many thanks all!!

you can hire a borescope,a fibre optic camera that will allow you to see into small places.
If it hasent got any insulation, then either strip back the roof tiles felt and battens and fit it that way.Or take down the plasterboard and do it from there.Costly either way.
