Just before easter we had a new Howdens Kitchen fitted. As part of the work we had new solid oak t & g flooring fitted using their recommended Sika glue. [6m x 3.5m]
After at least a month we began to notice the floor lifting in the centre of one end of the room between the range cooker and dishwasher positions.
The lump is now 2cm high and still depresses when stood on. It has spread almost up to the range and units along sink side of room; but does not extend to opposite units or wall and not at all in other half of room wher dining table is.
Dont believe it is lack of perimeter expansion as there appears to be 10mm all round remaining when skirtings removed.
All flooring was acclimatised for 2 weeks prior to fitting.
New leveling screed used, but this was dry prior to fitting.
What can we do to remedy floor?
Please Help.
