Inconsistent Shower

by Lou C » Wed Dec 17, 2008 2:08 pm

We have just installed a Noken shower (concealed thermostatic mixer)from Porcelanosa. We also needed a single impeller pump as we are on cold mains and gravity fed hot. When we turn the shower on, it may work fine but next time (seconds later or even the next day) nothing happens. It sometimes come back on if we fiddle around with the hot valve. Any ideas?

Lou C,
Did you flush the pipework before finally connecting the shower, sounds like some dirt has got into the thermostatic element.

We have taken the valves out and cleaned them. Porcelanosa have kindly given us new valves and the problem is still there.
