Increasing cellar height by raising some floor joists?

by Petebrown2006 » Sun Nov 01, 2020 8:43 am

Hi all

Cellar FTC height is currently 1.6m, I’d like to to increase it but not necessarily dig down.

Is there a way to increase it by removing joists in places? Accepting there will be some lower parts but taking m joists out would result in 1.8m in places.

Hi petebrown2006
Not a chance, digging down is your only option.
