Installing an unvented indirect hot water system

by happykat1972 » Tue Jun 09, 2009 10:49 am

Hi, can anyone help me with what I would need to install an unvented direct hot water system. My stepdad is installing it for me, but I think he is being sold to by the guys at B&Q as it seems to be costing a hell of a lot and we are trying to do things as economically as possible (baby on the way) so I just want to check.
The hot water tank will be fed direct from the mains and will be used to provide water to a one bed flat.
All help gratefully received.

In my opinion your wasting time and money - also stay away from B&Q for central heating products - they wont last.

A combi is ideal for a one bed flat, and cheaper.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately a combi is not an option as we do not have gas to the property.
