Installing new shower extractor fan help

by Woodywoods » Sun Nov 06, 2022 9:39 am

Hi all, replacing shower extractor fan, old one is a 3 pin thing (pic attached). This runs off a pull switch but I'm confused, too many wires for new fan?
Any ideas...I'm guessing best to get sparks in.

It would be your choice to get an electrician or not, but if you are not confident.

It seems likely the old one has a run on timer, but new one does not, so one pair of wires is the supply, the other pair the switch.

Needs some testing, or instructions from old fan
