I own an apartment with one bathroom (inc. bath) which is currently utilising hot water from an immersion tank. I'd prefer to remove most of these tanks and have an instant water heater.

The query i have is how do i calculate the amount of kw required to utilise the heating of water as necessary to my flat, whom has had experience in these units and which can be recommended?

Hows the apartment heated ?

Is it a gas water heater you want ? for the price your going to pay for a water heater, would you be better installing a Combi boiler ? this will heat waster instantly and radiators.

Electric ? Heatrae Sadia are good, put a post in the electrical forum, they'll probably be able to advise better.

Cheers for this, the heating is via individual electrical heaters, so it would only be required for hot water to bath and sinks.

I have posted on to the Electrical column to see if they can advise also...
