I need some advice on how best to insulate a wooden outbuilding that is to be used occasionally as a bedroom and office.
It is timber framed, shiplap to the outside with one layer of builders paper between the shiplap and internal joists.
I propose to use normal insulating material and then wood line the inside walls.
Should I put another layer of builders paper between the wood wall and the joists on the inside? Should I use a polythene membrane before the insulating material?
Really need some good advice to avoid a bad damp problem.
Many thanks
