Hi all (and thanks for the help),
I want to insulate the interior wall of our bathroom. It is a solid stone/mortar wall with no cavity. There haven't been any signs of damp coming through previously.
Can anyone advise me what is the best method to do this?
I was thinking about batoning the wall to make sure it is level then putting insulation between the batons or batoning the wall then attaching insulated plasterboard.
Do i need to use moisture sheeting?
I'm worried that adding insulation will lead to damp building up in the wall.

Hi simon1982,
Suggest you use one of the insulated plasterboards with a lambda value of less than 0.025 w/mK. Stick the boards directly to the wall using sticky foam and seal between the joins at the vapour barrier depth as you go with silicone sealant.
It is impossible to say whether you will get damp accumulating in the wall because there are so many variables.
