Hi, I'm a complete novice at DIY. We have suspended timber floor boards and wanted an easy way way to insulate them. A frieind suggested nailing wooden sheets on top of the exiting floorboards to stop the air coming through, maybe even with a polystyrene sheet in between.
I would be grateful for any thoughts on this, particularly whether this will cause and damp or condensation problems for the floor board
Thanks
