Hi All, I'm new here and hopeful I might get some help/advice. At the start of the year we moved into an old stone lodge built c.1840, however converted into a house c.1960s. We are about to start renovating it room by room, and on further investigating the internal walls, it looks like cement has been used (grey), no lime based plaster to be seen. Its pretty solid and will be covering the stone walls, its lumpy too. My concern is, its not breathable, but to remove it would be a hell of a job. What should we do, and how should we do it? Tried to add photos, but all the restrictions it won't let me! Thanks in advance.
