Is Laying Felt Directly on to Hardboard Roof Correct? Information, help and tips on many areas of roofing including trusses, tiling, venting, insulation etc....

Hi folks just looking for some info. Is it acceptable for roofing felt to be laid direct onto hardboard roof. Came across this in extension and have the feeling it's not right. Can post photos if required. Thanks in advance.
