I have a metal chandelier that has only two wires, they are both white and look a bit like what I can only describe as door bell wiring...
Is this wiring OK? would it matter which wire went to the black and red; and would I need to earth the metal frame by taking an earth wire from teh frame to the g/y wire?

Why do you bother asking you know we are going to say no.
Min size allowed for flex is 0.75mm and for normal wiring 1mm
