we have had installed a double socket at the back of our wall mounted TV and because it is so flush we are unable to turn the switch to the off position meaning the tv is always at standby , the electrical guy took a spur off a nearby double socket but i was thinking that he could have changed out the supplying socket with a isolation switch something similar to a cooker socket this i am presuming the allowance of turning the new socket off tv no longer at standby and still have the availably of use of the socket for hoover ect
would this be a doable request and if so is there anything similar to a cooker socket on the market
