Isolation valve - Push fit or compression valve?

i don't know if that is the right word, but i want to put one into the pipes going to my kitchen taps.

would you reccomend push fit or compression ones

I always use compression. THey are neater and cheaper, but if getting a spanner in to tighten them is difficult, use push fit.
