the small work light above the trigger stays on permanently draining the battery can anyone help.

Is that battery still charging?
If yes, you should go to service center to repair your tool.

If not, you should buy a new battery.

thank you for the quick reply, I have two batteries that hold full charge. I guess its off to a service counter, unless someone knows how to disconnect the light, as I could do without it.
