LAMINATED FLOORING

Post by jonesy_103@hotmail.com » Mon Jan 12, 2009 2:13 pm

Should I lay laminated flooring before I fit my kitchen or after ? I realise that it's easier to lay beforehand but I'm concerned about damage when installing.
I do have a problem with the room height as well, the tallest units are only 10mm shorter than the room height so I can't lay the flooring under the units.
However hte units (IKEA) are fitted on legs which will the have a plinth fixed over the top so I don't think it wil be a big issue to cut the floor at least partway under the units.

First post so excuse the long winded ramblings !
Regards

Peter

Fit the kitchen then lay the floor including any floor standing appliance bays.
end
