Laying artificial grass on whacked granno dust base

by Tele13 » Wed Oct 06, 2021 8:33 pm

Hi folks... I probably know I will get responses saying not best practice, but is is possible to pin artificial grass directly onto a whacked granno dust base? The grass will not be getting heavy footfall. My first idea was to build a frame but obviously wood on the ground has a certain lifespan and it would be simpler direct onto base if possible...

Thanks in advance

Hi tele13
Short answer - yes - but suggest you use an underlay or your AT will scrunch as you walk on it.
