We have a large shed (aka clubhouse) for a small sports club. The shed was put up 4 years ago and duly treated with external wood preserver (autumn gold). However, the knots continual leak, quite heavily in near horizontal rain we often receive. The sealants researched are either bright white (impossible to paint over) or designed for untreated wood. Having applied several coats of wood preserver in a futile attempt to stop the leaks can anyone advise the best course of action. And constructive advice would be greatly appreciated!
