Hoping someone can kindly advise. The pipe under the half-sink has a secondary pipe off it that leads nowhere. Water has started to leak from it when lots of water passes down half-sink. I presume the pipe has been capped in someway which has now corroded. When I initially undid the connection there was a fleeting sight of a blue piece before it disappeared. Am I able to fix this myself, or does it require a professional? There does not appear to be any blockage anywhere, and covering the end of the pipe with clingfilm solves the problem. See photographs (which show temporary clingfilm fix in place). Many thanks.
