Length of cable you can run off a spur

Hello to anybody reading this i need to put another plug socket around the other side of my living room and the only way i have figured out how to do this is to run a spur of the socket behind the t.v the amout of cable that would have to be run to this point is about 5-6 metres of cable just wanted to know is this ok to do there is only one ring main in the house as it is only a two bed terrace any advice would be gratful it is only likley to be powering up the lighting in our cupoard and the hover hover

Hi, no limit to length of run to one extra outlet, either single or double on 2.5twin & E.
