I am lookng at knocking through from a kitchen into a utility space, a 3m Lintel would be required to support the outer wall.

It's a fairly standard 1930's 3 bed semi.

What sort of £££ should I be looking at for the demolishion and fitting of the lintel?

usually between £300 - £400 if thats all you require plus the cost of the lintle which would probably be in the region of £100 although an rsj may be more more appropriate. It may be more if plastering and decorating is required as well
