I have a rectangle patch of weed area under the privet hedge. I just can't seem to come up with any ideas of what to do with it. It's south facing. On a main road with a bus stop close by so I don't want anything too expensive/showy because of theft, but at the same time I hate the untidy state it's in at the moment. I'd be grateful for any ideas. I've attached a pic below if it will help.

It's hard to tell from your picture what is what, perhaps another picture that is "in focus" and right way up would help?
