I have a large 1600 x 800 low profile stone shower tray, after use, a fair amount of water is left along the back edge. Does anyone know the amount that is tolerated in millilitres before I can complain "the mould is incorrect/ or I have been sold a second " ? I don't want a build up of limescale and discoloured area as well as a breeding ground for bacteria !! Thanks
Hi kingpete16, The first question is whether the tray has been installed level. Put a level on the top of the raised sides - not in the base. Regards, stoneyboy
Absolutely level all the way round, that's been checked that's why I'm convinced the shower tray is faulty, is there a tolerance amount of water left behind that manufacturers work too, as I have loads left ? Is there a standard measure ?
Hi kingpete16, I don't think there is any recommended standard for the falls in a shower tray and unfortunately with so much coming from China quality is going downhill. Sounds very much like you have a faulty tray and it will have to be replaced. Regards, stoneyboy
