Low slip additive for floor paint?

by deerhound » Wed Oct 18, 2023 12:47 pm

I'm going to paint my stairs with Little Greene water-based floor paint. I've got a three year old and I'm a bit worried about her slipping so I'm considering adding their Low Slip additive to it. It's essentially a super fine aggregate.

Little Greene say it looks fine and doesn't attract dirt but just skittle reduces the sheen of the paint.

Does anyone have any experience with this or a similar product?

Thanks!

That should obviously have read "slightly reduces the sheen", not "skittle reduces the sheen"!

Must learn to proof read!
