Hi All,

Trying to replace an extractor fan in the bathroom. The old one was very close to the ceiling and the new one is a little larger so i need to lower the vent through the brick by an inch or so.

What's the best way to do this? Would I get away with just chiseling or should I get a proper hole cutter?
