Hi,

I am in the process of clearing out the shed in the garden to convert it in to a bar.

The shed is in the corner with a brickwork wall to two sides and the other two sides are block work with a metal sheet roof.

We have clad the shed in timber but the next stop is sort the inside out. The metal roof leaks at the overlaps quite badly in heavy rain and I was wondering what are my options to make it water tight?

I want to clad the walls in timber and install a plasterboard ceiling but what could I do to the walls and metal roof before hand?

The best option would be to replace the existing metal sheeting on the roof with Corrapol-BT Corrugated Roofing Sheet. These are really light, easy to handle and also install. Each sheet is 930mm wide and 2m long so you should be able to work out how many sheets you need with thiose dimensions.

As fo rthe roof, as was already suggested you probabaly want to replace it

For the internal walls and floor would consider using a tanking slurry.

Following this you could build an internal stud wall and insulate with kingspan (or similar), this will balance the tempreture and avoid condensation.

If that woud take up too much space attach timber battens and fix insulation boards
