mcb ratings for circuits

by 2yellows » Sun Aug 19, 2007 5:24 pm

I'm planning to change my current wylex fuses (white/red/blue dots)with plug-n mcb's in a small 3 bed bungalow.
I have a 6 output box and would like someone to confirm the correct mcb ratings for each output.

1. kitchen sockets (16amp)
2. cooker (32amp)
3. garage (containing freezer) (16amp)
4. all other sockets (16amp)
5. lights (5amp)
6. shower (40amp)

I have only moved in recently and know the previous owner used 15amp
fuse wire for the cooker!

The garage contains a freezer but would also be used for a small electric mower.

Thanks in advance
Chaz
